Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in planning and executing complex drilling and completion programs
- Develop production forecasts and economic models for major unconventional assets
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and implement sustainable engineering practices
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with geoscientists on integrated field development strategies
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- 10+ years of upstream experience with unconventional shale plays
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated success in optimizing field economics
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in carbon capture and enhanced oil recovery
