Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to enhance recovery efficiency
- Lead feasibility studies for unconventional extraction techniques (shale gas, tight oil)
- Optimize well completions and hydraulic fracturing programs
- Analyze production data using AI-driven analytics to predict reservoir performance
- Develop cost-effective strategies for field development and expansion
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil and gas engineering experience
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel)
- Proven track record in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing optimization
- Strong understanding of production forecasting and economic analysis
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work in cross-functional teams
