Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir development plans using advanced simulation software (ECLIPSE, Nexus)
- Lead well intervention strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct economic analysis and feasibility studies for new field developments
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous technical improvement
- Develop integrated production models incorporating real-time sensor data
- Ensure compliance with API and SPE engineering standards
- Collaborate with subsurface teams on seismic interpretation and well placement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir simulation expertise
- Proficiency in reservoir modeling software (Petrel, tNavigator)
- Strong background in production enhancement techniques (hydraulic fracturing, EOR)
- Proven track record of leading field development projects from conception to execution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in oil & gas sector
