Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse)
- Lead field development planning and production optimization for unconventional assets
- Conduct economic analysis and feasibility studies for EOR projects
- Develop well completion designs and hydraulic fracturing programs
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil and gas engineering experience
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, Eclipse, CMG)
- Proven track record in unconventional resource development (shale, tight oil)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production forecasting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Deep understanding of drilling, completions, and production operations
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage complex timelines
