Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus)
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans (FDPs) and production forecasts
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and implement artificial lift solutions
- Conduct economic evaluations for capital projects using probabilistic analysis techniques
- Maintain compliance with API standards and environmental regulations (EPA, BSEE)
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer across global operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil and gas experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel, or Nexus)
- Certified Petroleum Engineer (PE) license or equivalent industry certification
- Demonstrated experience in economic modeling and project evaluation
- Strong understanding of drilling operations and completion technologies
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments
