Responsibilities
- Design and optimize hydraulic fracturing programs to maximize recovery factors in unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using Petrel and CMG to forecast production profiles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geoscience and drilling data into engineering models
- Develop cost-effective well completion strategies balancing technical feasibility and economic targets
- Conduct detailed well performance analysis and recommend production enhancement initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer through technical workshops
- Ensure compliance with API standards and HSE protocols in all engineering deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with emphasis on shale plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, CMG, Eclipse)
- Expertise in hydraulic fracturing design and production optimization
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex well data
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with D&A and reserve reporting standards
- Proven project leadership in multidisciplinary environments
