Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling/completion programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using PETREL and Eclipse software
- Conduct economic analysis and reserve estimation for new assets
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Develop AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) documentation
- Ensure compliance with API and industry safety standards
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated field development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience
- Expertise in reservoir simulation and production optimization
- Strong proficiency in PETREL, Eclipse, and well analysis software
- Proven project leadership in unconventional plays (preferably Permian/Bakken)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
