Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Lead optimization strategies for unconventional shale gas and deepwater projects
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for new exploration initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and environmental regulations
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/MEng preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir characterization and production forecasting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Schlumberger, CMG)
- Proven track record of leading multi-million dollar capital projects
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
