Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize reservoir simulation models to predict long-term field performance and recovery factors.
- Lead the creation and execution of Field Development Plans (FDP) to ensure maximum asset value.
- Conduct detailed petrophysical analysis and integrate geological data to refine reservoir characterization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production operations to resolve technical challenges.
- Monitor well performance and implement Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques to improve yield.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols across all projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas operations.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard reservoir simulation software (e.g., Schlumberger Petrel, Eclipse, CMG).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and produce actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical strategies to senior leadership.
