Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive HR strategies that align with organizational business objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and offboarding.
- Drive performance management cycles, providing coaching to managers on delivering high-impact feedback.
- Manage complex employee relations issues with a focus on empathy, equity, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with leadership to build a high-performance culture through innovative engagement and recognition programs.
- Maintain and optimize HRIS data integrity to provide actionable people analytics and reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
- Proven expertise in performance management systems, organizational design, and employee engagement.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and translate them into business strategy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of US labor laws, particularly within the New York market.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Rippling, or BambooHR).
