Nexus Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to bridge the gap between human capital strategy and operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our employee lifecycle, driving engagement, and scaling our HR infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.
You will work directly with executive leadership to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives that foster talent retention, growth, and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Lead organizational development initiatives to foster a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including benefits administration, payroll compliance, and HRIS optimization.
- Advise leadership on complex employee relations matters with a focus on empathy and risk mitigation.
- Develop and implement Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs that move the needle.
- Analyze people data to provide actionable insights for workforce planning and executive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (SHRM-CP or SPHR certification preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity.
- Expertise in California labor law and federal compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of managing HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, or Rippling).
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience scaling HR operations within a high-growth startup or enterprise environment.
