Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with company growth goals.
- Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and engagement.
- Implement data-driven performance management programs and professional development pathways.
- Lead compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to state and federal labor regulations.
- Partner with leadership to drive DEI initiatives and foster a psychologically safe, inclusive work environment.
- Manage HRIS systems and analyze workforce metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations and conflict resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Generalist roles, ideally within a tech environment.
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification highly preferred.
- Deep expertise in California labor laws and federal employment regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to use HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Rippling, or BambooHR) to drive operational efficiency.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence with a proven track record of handling sensitive employee relations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
