Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with organizational business objectives.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Cultivate a culture of belonging through innovative Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top-tier industry talent.
- Implement data-driven HR metrics to identify trends, enhance employee retention, and optimize operations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with executive leadership to mentor management on conflict resolution and employee engagement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership capacity.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of California labor laws and federal employment compliance.
- Proven ability to utilize HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Rippling, or BambooHR) to streamline operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives in a scaling startup or corporate environment.
