Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive People Strategy aligned with the company's business goals, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Culture & Engagement: Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Organize and lead engagement initiatives, town halls, and team-building activities to boost morale.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the primary advisor on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the performance management cycle, including annual reviews, goal setting, and succession planning to ensure workforce readiness.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with the leadership team to define hiring needs, design compelling employer value propositions, and improve the candidate and new hire experience.
  • Policy & Compliance: Review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring the organization remains compliant with local regulations and industry best practices.
  • HR Operations: Manage HRIS systems, payroll processing, and benefits administration to ensure accurate and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management or leadership role.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing HR teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex HR concepts to non-HR professionals.
