Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with company goals to ensure sustainable growth.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies within current workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a diverse team of operations specialists, setting clear KPIs and providing regular performance feedback.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with third-party logistics partners and vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
- Budget Control: Oversee the operational budget, monitoring expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize business disruption.
- Reporting: Generate and present detailed operational reports to the C-suite, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, supply chain, or logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex logistical challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and pivot strategies quickly in response to market changes.
