Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department, ensuring all targets and KPIs are met.
- Analyze current operational workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations staff.
- Manage the annual budget, forecasting financial requirements and monitoring expenditure.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a fast-paced industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working under pressure.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
