This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and requires a blend of analytical rigor and collaborative leadership. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to deliver seamless experiences for our 2M+ global users.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor scalable operational frameworks supporting 24/7 service delivery
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce process latency by 30%+ through Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Own vendor management relationships with strategic partners (AWS, Salesforce, Datadog)
- Develop KPI dashboards and real-time monitoring systems for operational health
- Coordinate crisis response protocols for incidents with <15-minute SLA
- Mentor 5-person operations team through performance development plans
- Drive $2M+ cost optimization initiatives through data-driven resource allocation
Qualifications
- 8+ years in operations management with 3+ years in tech/SaaS environments
- Proven expertise in process automation (Zapier, Jira, ServiceNow)
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Experience scaling operations for 500K+ user bases
- Strong background in vendor contract negotiation and SLA management
- Track record of reducing operational costs by 25%+ through process redesign
- Exceptional stakeholder management across C-suite levels
