Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and diagnostic screenings for a diverse patient demographic.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans for complex acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe pharmacological agents and non-pharmacological therapies in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with specialized physicians and healthcare staff to ensure holistic, 360-degree patient care.
- Lead preventative health initiatives and provide evidence-based wellness counseling to patients and families.
- Maintain high-integrity electronic health records (EHR) ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Mentor junior clinical staff and participate in internal quality improvement and peer review programs.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current, unrestricted APRN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- National Board Certification (FNP-C, FNP-BC, or AGNP-C) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in family medicine or internal medicine settings.
- Active DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR).
- Advanced proficiency in EHR systems, specifically Epic or Cerner.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of patient advocacy and clinical leadership.
