Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to drive inventory decisions and optimize assortment planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Design and Sourcing teams to ensure product development aligns with current market demands.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock flow, and replenishment strategies to minimize markdowns and maximize sell-through rates.
  • Develop and execute financial plans, including open-to-buy (OTB) budgets and profit and loss (P&L) responsibility.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to communicate merchandising strategies to store managers and regional directors.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through, GMROI, and sell-out velocity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising or buying, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets to make actionable business decisions.
