Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to optimize assortment planning and inventory turnover.
- Develop and manage seasonal merchandising calendars aligned with key business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the buying team and creative directors to ensure product quality and brand consistency.
- Monitor stock levels in real-time and adjust orders to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to identify market gaps and growth opportunities.
- Present monthly performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in retail merchandising, buying, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of managing P&L responsibility and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
