Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal financial plans and open-to-buy budgets.
- Analyze historical sales data to forecast future demand and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to ensure product availability.
- Manage inventory flow, optimizing stock levels across multiple channels to minimize markdowns and maximize sell-through.
- Conduct regular business reviews to provide actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Develop robust assortment plans that align with market trends and brand identity.
- Mentor and guide junior planners to improve analytical capabilities and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning or allocation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or JDA).
- Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of retail math and KPI metrics.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and present complex data in a clear, compelling manner.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
