Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandise plans across 5+ product categories, ensuring optimal inventory levels and sell-through rates
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and historical performance to forecast demand and allocate resources
- Collaborate with buying teams to assortment planning, markdown strategies, and promotional calendars
- Monitor key KPIs including GMROI, inventory turnover, and gross margin to drive financial goals
- Lead cross-functional meetings to align merchandising initiatives with marketing and store operations
- Implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of merchandise planning experience in luxury or premium retail environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, JDA, and/or SAP merchandising systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets and translate into actionable insights
- Deep understanding of retail financial metrics (GMROI, sell-through, margin analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to present to executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field
- Experience developing merchandise plans for omnichannel retail operations
- Proven track record of improving inventory productivity and reducing carrying costs
