Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies aligned with brand identity and sales targets
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform assortment planning
- Collaborate with visual teams to create compelling in-store displays and promotional campaigns
- Oversee inventory management, optimizing stock levels to minimize markdowns while maximizing sell-through
- Train and mentor junior merchandising staff on best practices and brand standards
- Monitor KPIs including GMROI, sell-through rates, and inventory turnover
- Coordinate with buying teams to ensure cohesive product launches and promotions
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in retail merchandising with luxury or premium fashion brands
- Proven track record of driving sales growth through strategic merchandising initiatives
- Expertise in inventory management, assortment planning, and visual merchandising
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in retail analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle Retail)
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field
