Responsibilities
- Perform complex hematology tests including CBC, coagulation studies, and specialized cell morphology analysis
- Validate test results using CLIA/CAP standards and troubleshoot instrumentation
- Train and supervise 3-5 junior technologists in laboratory protocols
- Implement quality control programs and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with hematologists on abnormal result interpretation
- Document procedures and maintain electronic health records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (MT/MLS certified)
- 5+ years hematology experience with flow cytometry expertise
- Certified as MT(ASCP) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of CAP/CLIA regulations
- Experience training laboratory personnel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
