Responsibilities
- Perform and validate complex diagnostic tests across hematology, chemistry, and immunology departments
- Implement and maintain CLIA/CAP compliance standards and quality assurance protocols
- Mentor 3+ junior technologists through hands-on training and skill development
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide clinical insights
- Contribute to process optimization initiatives enhancing laboratory efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement projects for diagnostic accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (MS preferred)
- ASCP or equivalent certification with 5+ years clinical laboratory experience
- Proven expertise in advanced diagnostic instrumentation and automation
- Demonstrated leadership experience in laboratory operations
- Strong knowledge of CAP/CLIA regulations and quality control procedures
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
