Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology departments
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure precision and regulatory compliance
- Train and mentor junior technologists on standardized protocols and quality assurance
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and provide critical diagnostic insights
- Implement and validate new laboratory procedures following CAP and CLIA standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for laboratory workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
- ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume clinical laboratory
- Expertise in molecular diagnostics and automated laboratory systems
- Strong knowledge of CAP, CLIA, and OSHA regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
