Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical studies using CRISPR-Cas9 and organoid models
- Analyze genomic datasets (NGS, RNA-seq) to identify therapeutic targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in IND-enabling studies for FDA submissions
- Present findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers and optimize lab protocols
- Secure external funding through NIH and foundation grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in translational research
- Expertise in murine models and cell culture techniques
- Proficiency with Python/R for bioinformatics analysis
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications
- Strong knowledge of GCP/GLP regulations
- Certification in Human Subjects Research (CITI)
