Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical and clinical research protocols aligned with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Analyze complex genomic and proteomic datasets using bioinformatics tools
- Lead cross-functional teams including biologists, data scientists, and regulatory experts
- Prepare and submit IND/CTA applications and regulatory documentation
- Present findings at international conferences and publish in high-impact journals
- Develop and manage research budgets and timelines
- Mentor junior scientists and foster collaborative research environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in neurodegenerative disease mechanisms and therapeutic development
- Strong proficiency in CRISPR, next-gen sequencing, and single-cell analysis
- Experience with statistical programming (R, Python) and AI/ML applications in research
- Demonstrated track record of IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific and stakeholder audiences
- Ability to lead complex projects in dynamic, deadline-driven environments
