Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex clinical trials and laboratory experiments in oncology and regenerative medicine
- Lead cross-functional teams of biologists, data scientists, and clinical coordinators
- Develop innovative research methodologies and validate new diagnostic protocols
- Analyze genomic and proteomic data using advanced bioinformatics tools
- Secure and manage NIH/industry research grants ($2M+ annually)
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and ethical research standards
Qualifications
- PhD or MD/PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in clinical research with 3+ in leadership
- Proven track record of securing federal funding and publishing high-impact papers
- Expertise in CRISPR gene editing and next-generation sequencing
- Strong statistical analysis skills (R, Python, SAS)
- Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Experience with FDA IND/BLA submissions
- Exceptional presentation skills for scientific conferences and stakeholder meetings
