Responsibilities
- Design and execute global clinical trial strategies for novel therapeutics
- Lead cross-functional teams including physicians, biostatisticians, and regulatory experts
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ICH-GCP, and other regulatory standards
- Present research findings to scientific committees and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior medical staff and cultivate research excellence
- Collaborate with biotech partners to accelerate therapeutic development
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation for research programs
Qualifications
- MD/DO with board certification in relevant medical specialty
- 10+ years of clinical research leadership experience in pharmaceutical/biotech
- Proven track record of successful IND/CTA submissions and trial execution
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed medical journals
- Expertise in oncology, immunology, or rare disease therapeutics preferred
- Advanced degree or fellowship in clinical research methodology
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complex regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements
