Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate data from various Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and SQL to track patient outcomes and operational KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff and software engineers to define data requirements and improve system usability.
- Ensure 100% compliance with HIPAA regulations and data governance standards across all analytical projects.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Lead training sessions for non-technical stakeholders to foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, healthcare informatics, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration; Master’s degree preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying large, unstructured datasets.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and machine learning tasks.
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of patient privacy laws.
