Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of complex healthcare datasets to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards across all data handling processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, nursing, and administration, to translate raw data into strategic insights.
- Develop automated reporting scripts to reduce manual data entry and increase reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Biostatistics, Nursing Informatics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis within the healthcare or medical technology sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data manipulation.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and medical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
