Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure the integrity and accuracy of clinical information stored in our EHR systems.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders, including C-suite executives and clinical leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant healthcare data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data governance policies.
- Conduct statistical modeling to predict patient readmission rates and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or a related medical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, medical coding, or health informatics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Deep understanding of healthcare standards, including HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED CT.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
