Responsibilities
- Strategic SEO Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive medical SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase patient acquisition.
- Content Creation & Curation: Author, edit, and oversee the production of high-quality, HIPAA-compliant medical content, including whitepapers, blog posts, and patient guides.
- Keyword Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-intent medical search terms and map them to user intent.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with medical doctors, researchers, and designers to translate technical jargon into accessible, compelling narratives.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor content performance using analytics tools and iterate on strategies to maximize conversion rates and user engagement.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all digital assets adhere to strict healthcare regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical writing, healthcare marketing, or technical SEO.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes.
- Writing Style: Exceptional command of the English language with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences (patients, providers, payers).
