Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end mechanical design of robotic platforms and consumer hardware products from concept to mass production.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA) to create detailed 2D drawings and complex 3D assemblies.
  • Conduct rigorous prototyping, testing, and validation (DFM/DFA) to ensure product performance, durability, and reliability.
  • Develop and manage Bill of Materials (BOM), driving cost-effective manufacturing solutions and supply chain optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including firmware engineers, electrical engineers, and industrial designers.
  • Apply advanced engineering principles, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and tolerance stack-ups (GD&T).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, with a preference for experience in robotics, automation, or consumer electronics.
  • Proficient in CAD software with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex assemblies and tolerance analysis.
