As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of product development, from conceptual design to mass production readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of complex mechanical systems and subsystems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
- Conduct rigorous finite element analysis (FEA) and stress testing to validate product durability and performance under various conditions.
- Develop and manage detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical components into automated systems.
- Oversee the prototyping process, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid tooling.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in manufacturing and design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the robotics, automation, or aerospace industry.
- Proficient in industry-standard CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
