Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design of complex mechanical systems and subsystems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
  • Conduct rigorous finite element analysis (FEA) and stress testing to validate product durability and performance under various conditions.
  • Develop and manage detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical components into automated systems.
  • Oversee the prototyping process, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid tooling.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in manufacturing and design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the robotics, automation, or aerospace industry.
  • Proficient in industry-standard CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) is highly desirable.
