Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process, from concept generation to final production documentation.
- Perform advanced FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical systems into complex assemblies.
- Develop and test high-fidelity prototypes to validate design assumptions and improve manufacturability.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for engineering issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masterās degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive or robotics mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
