As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design, analysis, and testing of complex mechanical systems, mentoring junior staff and driving technical excellence across our R&D division.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
  • Conduct detailed stress analysis, thermal analysis, and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure product integrity and safety.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to drive seamless product integration.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, execute validation testing, and document rigorous results for regulatory compliance.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and innovation within the engineering department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive or industrial machinery sector.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
  • Strong working knowledge of FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
  • Experience with GD&T standards and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and a commitment to quality.
