Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process for complex industrial machinery.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and CFD simulations to optimize product performance and durability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Oversee the prototyping phase, including 3D printing and CNC machining, and iterate based on testing results.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards (ASME, ISO) and safety regulations.
- Prepare technical documentation, including BOMs and assembly manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
- Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
