Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to production
- Develop detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for performance optimization
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype, test, and validate mechanical systems
- Design and implement manufacturing processes for precision components
- Ensure compliance with ASME, ISO, and aerospace industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech industries
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation software (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Strong understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, and structural mechanics
- Experience with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles
- Certification in PMP or Six Sigma a plus
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from conception to launch
