Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production
- Analyze and optimize system performance using FEA/CFD simulations
- Develop detailed technical documentation including CAD models and BOMs
- Collaborate with R&D teams on prototyping and testing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ASME, ISO, and industry-specific standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement processes
- Interface with suppliers to source cost-effective components
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with automotive or industrial systems design
- Proven project leadership with budget management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
