Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design for aerospace systems using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop and validate prototypes through FEA analysis and physical testing
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system solutions
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance targets
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with FAA and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA software
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and project management experience
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain
