Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and fluid dynamics.
- Simulation & Analysis: Utilize advanced simulation software (ANSYS, SolidWorks) to perform stress analysis and thermal modeling.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards such as ASME, ISO, and local building codes.
- Project Management: Oversee project milestones, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, structural).
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, conducting technical reviews and code reviews.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within the industrial or commercial sector.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and FEA/CFD analysis software.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
