Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Perform advanced CAD modeling and simulation using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost-efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and FEA tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Experience with material selection and testing protocols
- Proven project management using Agile methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
