Responsibilities

  • Lead the mechanical design lifecycle for high-precision robotic systems from conceptualization to mass production.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo) to develop complex 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to validate structural integrity, thermal performance, and vibration resistance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, specifically in robotics or automated machinery.
  • Expert-level proficiency in CAD design software (SolidWorks preferred) and PDM systems.
  • Strong background in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Proven experience with FEA tools (ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation).
  • Experience with material selection, heat treatment, and precision manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding).
