Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex robotic components and high-precision machinery.
- Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform comprehensive FEA and tolerance analysis to ensure structural integrity and functional reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to integrate system controls.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from initial proof-of-concept through final production deployment.
- Establish design standards and best practices to optimize performance and manufacturability.
- Oversee rapid prototyping and coordinate testing phases to validate system performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine design or advanced robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of designing components for high-volume manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and heat treatment processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical design reviews.
