Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies and robotic sub-systems.
- Perform high-fidelity FEA and thermal simulations to optimize structural integrity and performance.
- Drive product development through the full lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to production launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Manage technical documentation, including detailed CAD models, BOMs, and manufacturing prints.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct rigorous design reviews to ensure premium quality standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and fabrication shops to source specialized parts and ensure quality control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in machine design or automated systems.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks or Siemens NX.
- Strong background in GD&T and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, additive manufacturing).
- Proven experience conducting complex FEA and structural analysis to improve design efficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative R&D environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven track record of project ownership.
