Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical product development from concept to production
- Design and validate components using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo) and FEA analysis
- Collaborate with R&D teams to implement innovative material solutions
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and performance
- Develop test protocols and conduct validation for mechanical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial products
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMA, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining)
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
