Responsibilities
- Lead the full product lifecycle from conceptual design and prototyping to mass production.
- Develop complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and advanced FEA simulation tools.
- Perform rigorous stress and thermal analysis to ensure structural integrity and system efficiency.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Oversee design validation testing and lead root cause analysis for performance improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in CAD standards and documentation.
- Manage vendor relationships for prototyping and custom component manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in robotics or precision automation design.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM systems.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, 3D printing).
- Demonstrated experience in motion control systems and complex gearbox assemblies.
- Excellent analytical capabilities with a focus on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical cross-functional projects.
