Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design projects from concept to production using CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX)
- Perform FEA simulations and stress analysis for critical components
- Develop detailed engineering documentation including BOMs, drawings, and test protocols
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research and implement advanced materials and manufacturing techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech industries
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD and FEA software
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME standards
- Experience with composite materials and additive manufacturing
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
